We are seeking a Supply Chain Management Business Partner, Core Programs to serve as the key liaison between business stakeholders and Supply Chain Management (SCM) services, ensuring the successful delivery of program contracting, procurement, and sourcing requirements. In this highly collaborative role, you will provide strategic oversight of third-party spend, sourcing decisions, and supply chain planning to support project success and operational efficiency.

What You Will Do:

  • Partner with Business Units, Project Managers, Engineering teams, and SCM specialists to develop and execute sourcing strategies for materials and services across project portfolios.

  • Create, maintain, and manage Procurement Plans, including anticipated workloads, material and service requirements, long-lead items, and RFx activities.

  • Forecast contract and purchase order requirements and ensure sourcing activities remain aligned with project schedules and business objectives.

  • Act as the primary SCM point of contact and accountability for assigned projects and programs, providing guidance, reporting, and communication on SCM activities.

  • Monitor procurement performance against established plans, proactively addressing risks, issues, and opportunities to support successful project delivery.

  • Collaborate with SCM Contracts and Procurement Specialists to ensure effective execution of sourcing strategies, stakeholder alignment, and compliance with governance requirements.

  • Resolve complex client and stakeholder issues while supporting continuous improvement initiatives, onboarding of new projects, and implementation of SCM processes.

Who You Are:

  • University degree in Supply Chain, Finance, Business, Economics, Engineering or a related field with 6+ years of progressively responsible project, commercial, technical business or equivalent related SCM experience.

  • Strong understanding of strategic sourcing, category management, supplier qualification methodologies, and total cost of ownership principles.

  • Proven ability to influence and engage stakeholders at all organizational levels, build strong relationships, and negotiate effectively without direct authority.

  • Excellent analytical, cost modeling, project management, presentation, and communication skills, combined with strong proficiency in Microsoft Office applications.

  • Demonstrated ability to foster collaboration, develop broad professional networks, and effectively communicate with suppliers, partners, and internal stakeholders.

  • Excellent presentation, facilitation, and project management skills, with the ability to effectively communicate, influence, and engage audiences across various tiers of the organization.

Preferred:

  • A postgraduate qualification or MBA would be an asset.

  • Experience in the oil and gas and/or energy industry

  • Enrollment in or completion of a professional designation program in a related field e.g. Supply Chain Management Professional (SCMP) / Certified Professional in Supply Management (CPSM) or equivalent.

  • Experience with Oracle, SAP or equivalent as well as SharePoint would be considered an asset.

  • Experience with multiple sourcing methodologies (RFX, etc.).

Working Conditions:

  • Typical office environment.

  • Work is highly visible and deadline-driven, requiring the ability to manage multiple priorities and stakeholder expectations simultaneously.

  • Minimal to moderate travel may be required to project sites, supplier locations, warehouses, and Enbridge offices; occasional use of Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) may be necessary.

Salary Ranges from $98,000 – $135,000 USD for US locations based upon candidate’s experience, skills, and internal equity. Applicable compensation policies and guidelines apply to internal candidates.

Physical Requirements include but are not limited to:

Grasping, kneeling, light – moderate lifting (objects up to 50 pounds), reaching above shoulder, repetitive motion, typing, sitting, standing, visual requirement (able to see screens, detect color coding, read fine print), hearing requirement and the ability to sit at a computer for long periods of time.

Ability to: understand, remember and apply oral and/or written instructions or other information, understand complex problems and collaborate/explore alternative solutions, organize thoughts and ideas into understandable terminology, organize and prioritize work schedule on a short-term basis, make decisions which have moderate impact on the immediate work unit and monitor impact outside this area, understand and follow basic instructions and guidelines, complete routine forms, compose letters, outlines, memoranda and basic reports and communicate with individuals via telephone.
