As a Supply Chain Lead - Electronics & Automation at Vention...

You'll lead and optimize the global supply chain of electrical and electronic components (such as PCBs, harnesses, sensors, motors, control modules) for our automation platform. You'll shape sourcing strategies, build strong supplier partnerships, and ensure cost, quality and delivery performance keep pace with our rapid growth. You will guide a team of buyers and collaborate across Engineering, Production and Quality to enable scalable manufacturing operations worldwide.

What You'll Do
  • You'll lead sourcing and procurement for electrical, electronic, and automation components such as PCBs, wiring harnesses, motors, sensors, and controls.
  • You'll develop and execute category strategies that balance cost, lead time, quality, and risk.
  • You'll collaborate with Engineering on new product introductions and design-for-manufacturing to ensure supply readiness.
  • You'll manage supplier relationships, including performance reviews, risk assessments, and long-term supply agreements.
  • You'll oversee ERP/MRP planning, maintain accurate material master data, and ensure visibility on inventory and lead times.
  • You'll monitor industry trends, identify supply chain risks, and drive continuous improvement initiatives.
  • You'll mentor and develop junior team members while fostering a culture of operational excellence.

You'll bring:
  • A bachelor's degree in Supply Chain, Electrical Engineering, or a related field - or equivalent experience.
  • Several years of procurement or sourcing experience focused on electrical, electronic, or automation components.
  • Strong understanding of electronic assemblies, PCBs, wiring harnesses, motors, and electrical control systems.
  • Experience supporting NPIs, DFM discussions, and cross-functional work with Engineering, Quality, and Manufacturing.
  • Proven expertise in supplier management, cost optimization, risk mitigation, and continuous improvement.
  • Experience with ERP/MRP systems and supply chain analytics.
  • Exposure to fast-paced manufacturing environments or automation/industrial hardware.
  • Familiarity with Lean practices or ISO-regulated environments.
  • A curiosity to learn, a collaborative mindset, and a drive to contribute to something meaningful.
