Job Description:Supply Chain IE Director The Supply Chain IE Director is the strategic leader within the supply organization with responsibility for the optimization of the distribution network for finished goods to Mars Petcare customers demonstrating strong people and technical logistics leadership.
This role is accountable for development of the short and long term deliver strategies that ensure Mars Petcare is "Delivering Customer Value Ahead of our Competition". The role oversees the Network Design for all Mars operating sites, including 3PL operations (warehouse and co-pack).
What are we looking for?- Minimum bachelor's degree in supply chain, logistics and/or business administration. Advanced degree preferred.
- Minimum 7 years of business experience in Supply Chain and/or logistics management.
- Minimum 5 years leading people and teams
- Demonstrated success influencing strategic decisions through strong managerial presence and leadership skills.
- Strong overall business knowledge: Sales, S&F, R&D and Commercial.
- Demonstrated success leading a major project.
- Strong Analytical skills.
What will your key responsibilities be?- Implement a reliable logistics infrastructure with a flexible vendor base to ensure warehousing and transportation capacities deliver business needs (quality, service, and cost) for both current year Operating Plan and Longer Term (5-10 year) horizon.
- Integration of Supply Chain Network strategy to support Petcare OGSM's; feeder to SND pillar for all supply
- Collaboration to ensure efficient resource and activity management
- Build a 5 Principles centric Mars culture leading, developing and engaging a direct team.
- Lead Value Leadership LCC initiatives
- Form collaborative relationships cross-segment and globally with Food, Snacking and Royal Canin Logistics leaders to share best practices and explore opportunities to partner.
- Support the END-TO-END SUPPLY CHAIN journey. To co-create and implement the strategy in this area, focusing on service, cost and cash along the end-to-end supply chain.
- Identify and drive REGIONAL COST-TO-SERVE PROJECTS. Measure, report and analyze the performance in supply chain/logistics across markets and factories in order to set up and drive improvement initiatives across segments and units.
- Lead the capital program management for logistics spend
