Join Deloitte's US Supply Chain & Network Operations practice and help organizations improve transportation performance across complex supply chains. As a Consultant, Supply Chain Transformation, you will support transformation initiatives across planning, logistics, fulfillment, and network operations. You will help clients improve processes, enable technology, and drive operational value.

Work you'll do

As a Consultant, Supply Chain Transformation on the Supply Chain & Network Operations team, you will be responsible for:
  • Supporting client engagements focused on transportation and supply chain transformation
  • Gathering business requirements and translating them into process and system designs
  • Supporting Transportation Management System workstreams, including routing, tendering, shipment execution, and carrier management
  • Working with business and technology teams to improve transportation operations and system capabilities
  • Contributing to workshops, testing, training, deployment, and integration efforts across Transportation Management System and Enterprise Resource Planning solutions

You will work closely with operations leaders, plant managers, and IT teams to design and implement solutions that enhance production efficiency, quality, visibility, and traceability across the manufacturing value chain.

Qualifications

Required:
  • 3+ years of experience in supply chain, transportation, consulting, or industry operations
  • Experience with transportation planning and execution processes
  • Experience with the U.S. transportation market, including truck, rail, marine, or parcel
  • Experience integrating Transportation Management System and Enterprise Resource Planning solutions
  • Bachelor's degree
  • Ability to travel 50%, on average, based on the work you do and the clients and industries/sectors you serve.
  • Must be legally authorized to work in the United States without the need for employer sponsorship, now or at any time in the future.
Preferred:
  • 2+ years of experience with a Transportation Management System such as Blue Yonder, Oracle Transportation Management, SAP Transportation Management, or another Transportation Management System solution
  • Consulting experience or experience supporting transformation programs
  • Experience with transportation process improvement, logistics optimization, or supply chain technology implementation
  • Experience with transportation master data, rates, carrier connectivity, freight settlement, and reporting
The wage range for this role takes into account the wide range of factors that are considered in making compensation decisions including but not limited to skill sets; experience and training; licensure and certifications; and other business and organizational needs. The disclosed range estimate has not been adjusted for the applicable geographic differential associated with the location at which the position may be filled. At Deloitte, it is not typical for an individual to be hired at or near the top of the range for their role and compensation decisions are dependent on the facts and circumstances of each case. A reasonable estimate of the current range is $91,100 to $179,500.

You may also be eligible to participate in a discretionary annual incentive program, subject to the rules governing the program, whereby an award, if any, depends on various factors, including, without limitation, individual and organizational performance.
