Full Job Description
The Supply Chain Coordinator III leads supplier tracking, expediting, and governance activities in support of the SMR-300 program, ensuring full visibility and control from purchase order release through closeout. This role partners closely with Buyers, Engineering, Project Controls, Quality, and Construction to proactively manage supplier performance, mitigate risks, and drive timely delivery of materials and services. The ideal candidate brings strong experience in expediting and procurement operations, along with the ability to coordinate logistics, inspections, and documentation while maintaining audit-ready records in a highly regulated and technically complex environment.

Location: Camden, NJ (Onsite)

Primary Responsibilities:
  • Own end-to-end expediting for critical/long-lead purchase orders, validating supplier schedules and progress through delivery and closeout.
  • Maintain expediting dashboards and KPIs; provide accurate forecasts and concise status updates to project stakeholders.
  • Drive supplier performance: lead follow-ups, remove constraints, negotiate recovery plans, and escalate issues with impact and mitigation actions.
  • Coordinate delivery readiness and logistics, including packaging requirements, freight planning, shipping documentation, and site receiving alignment.
  • Partner with Quality/Engineering to coordinate inspections and ensure compliant documentation packages; close gaps to meet contract and program requirements.
  • Support procurement execution, including PO administration, change documentation, and resolution of shortages, nonconformances, and invoice/shipping discrepancies.


Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Business, Engineering, Construction Management, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
  • 7-10 years of experience in procurement or supply chain roles supporting large-scale industrial, EPC, or complex capital projects; experience in nuclear or other highly regulated industries is strongly preferred.
  • Working understanding of purchase order lifecycle, supplier communication, delivery tracking, and logistics concepts.
  • Strong knowledge of purchasing processes, contract terms and conditions, and supplier performance management.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office (especially Excel), ERP systems and procurement tools (e.g., SAP, Oracle, and comfort maintaining trackers and status reporting.
  • Excellent organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities and drive deliverables in a schedule-driven project environment.
  • Ability to identify risks, propose practical recovery actions, and escalate issues with clear, timely information.
  • Must be eligible to work under U.S. federal code 10 CFR 810.


Preferred Qualifications:
  • Experience working on nuclear new build projects or within NQA-1 quality programs.
  • Familiarity with ASME codes, nuclear procurement specifications, and supplier quality requirements.
  • Certification in Supply Chain Management (e.g., CPSM, CSCP) or Project Management (PMP) is a plus.
  • Experience with international sourcing and logistics coordination.
  • Experience in supplier audits, inspections, or quality surveillance.


Compensation:
  • Annual compensation based on skills and experience ranging from $85,000 to $100,000
