Oracle Cloud Infrastructure (OCI) is seeking a Supply Chain Analyst 2 to support sourcing and supply execution for fiber, optical transceivers, and related data center infrastructure materials. This role partners closely with Sourcing Managers, suppliers, Engineering, Production, and Operations to help ensure critical materials are available when and where they are needed.

The analyst will focus on the day-to-day execution of the supply chain-monitoring material requirements, managing supplier commitments, expediting shortages, supporting purchasing and sourcing activities, and helping resolve supply issues that could impact OCI infrastructure deployments.

  • Plan, schedule, and monitor material requirements based on engineering and production schedules.
  • Partner with suppliers and Sourcing Managers to expedite critical fiber, optical transceiver, and related materials from suppliers to Oracle.
  • Track supplier commitments, open purchase orders, shortages, delivery risks, and recovery actions.
  • Support purchasing and sourcing activities, including quotations, bid analysis, purchase orders, and blanket purchase orders.
  • Maintain inventory at appropriate levels while supporting just-in-time purchasing, EOQ, and other material-planning strategies.
  • Analyze supply, demand, inventory, cost, and supplier data to identify risks and support purchasing decisions.
  • Resolve material discrepancies, non-conformances, and supply variances in partnership with suppliers and internal teams.
  • Support risk-buy decisions, component qualifications, and alternate-source activities when additional supply continuity is needed.
  • Monitor supplier performance across delivery, cost, quality, and execution, escalating risks and driving follow-through as needed.
  • Help identify and develop alternative supply sources when existing suppliers cannot meet business requirements.
  • Maintain accurate sourcing and supplier information, including operational reports, purchasing systems, and blanket purchase orders.
  • Coordinate across Sourcing, Engineering, Production, Operations, and suppliers to communicate material risks, priorities, owners, and recovery dates.


Qualifications
  • 2+ years of relevant experience in supply chain, sourcing, procurement, purchasing, material planning, production planning, or supplier management; BA/BS degree preferred.
  • Experience working with suppliers, purchase orders, production/material requirements, or delivery schedules.
  • Ability to analyze data and translate supply or purchasing issues into clear actions.
  • Strong organizational skills and ability to manage multiple material priorities and supplier commitments.
  • Effective communication and cross-functional collaboration skills.
  • Experience with fiber, optical transceivers, networking, electronics, or data center components is highly relevant but not required.
  • Experience with component qualification, supplier expediting, shortage management, or alternate sourcing is a plus.


This position operates largely independently within defined policies and procedures, with responsibility for executing standard supply chain and sourcing activities while helping OCI maintain reliable material flow for critical infrastructure.

Qualifications

US: Hiring Range in USD from $28.41 to $56.83 per hour; from: $59,100 to $118,200 per annum. May be eligible for equity.

Oracle maintains broad salary ranges for its roles in order to account for variations in knowledge, skills, experience, market conditions and locations, as well as reflect Oracle's differing products, industries and lines of business.
Candidates are typically placed into the range based on the preceding factors as well as internal peer equity.

8. Paid time off: Flexible Vacation is provided to all eligible employees assigned to a salaried (non-overtime eligible) position. For employees working at least 35 hours per week, the vacation accrual rate is 13 days annually for the first three years of employment and 18 days annually for subsequent years of employment. Vacation accrual is prorated for employees working between 20 and 34 hours per week. Employees working fewer than 20 hours per week are not eligible for vacation.
