Full Job Description
Summary

This is a critical role within Supplier Relationship Management (SRM) division that leads the monitoring, assessment, and reporting functions of supply chain risk across the procurement lifecycle for the Authority and Canals Corporation. This position develops and executes supply chain risk mitigation strategies as well as helps inform procurement decisions to achieve short-term and long-term goals in support of NYPA's VISION2030 strategic plan.

This position coordinates and oversees activities related to supplier contracts, ensuring effective scheduling, pricing, and performance across the supplier contract lifecycle. Supports the development and expansion of assigned supplier contracts by ensuring adherence to contractual and compliance obligations, including but not limited to the tracking, collection, review, and storage of System and Organization Controls (SOC) reports. This position manages supplier risk through comprehensive assessments and mitigation strategies, while identifying and resolving contract issues to ensure goals are achieved on time and within budget. This position contributes to the establishment of processes, governance, and training to ensure all relevant suppliers meet the organization's security, privacy, and compliance requirements. This position collaborates closely with SSM, legal, finance, IT security, Enterprise Risk, and business units to maintain supplier relationships that are commercially effective, compliant, and resilient. #LI-VB1

Responsibilities

  • Propose and maintain controls, processes, procedures, reporting, etc. to manage the programs.
  • Manage the risks and issues that arise during the program cycle as well as take measures to correct them.
  • Coordinate the project(s) and their interdependencies between various projects and programs within departments or business units.
  • Collect data and prepare program status analysis and reporting. Monitor progress to ensure that the milestones are being met.

The New York Power Authority is committed to providing fair, competitive, and market-informed compensation. The estimated salary range for this position is: $104,000 $130,000. The salary offered will be determined based on the successful candidates' relevant experience, knowledge, skills, and abilities.
