Your Tasks
- Follow-up and Problem Solving of supplier claims: responsible person to close 8D reports from suppliers and input in SAP/QM system
- Initiation and follow-up on sorting activities concerning supplied parts that do not meet specification
- Debits of supplier caused costs to supplier
- System and process audits at suppliers to avoid reoccurance of failures and as a tool for preventive Quality Management (Process audits, Requlification audits, VDA audits)Update incoming inspection plans
- Facilitate the consequent execution of error prevention, continuous improvement and problem solving by utilization of corporate tools (Problem Management Process, Top Quality reporting, warranty and field reviews)
- Supplier Quality Performance tracking
- Perform process capability studies on an ongoing basis to validate especial characteristics at incoming.
- Perform new supplier validation and monthly supplier evaluation to ensure effective corrective actions, failure prevention and continuous improvement.
- Review supplier part documentation (PPAP) and deviation tracking
- Validate, document and publish lessons learned from positive and negative experiences, consolidate those lessons into Plant Standards and communicate these up to the North American and
- Global Lessons-Learned Committees.
Your Profile
- Bachelor's degree from a four-year college or university; or five to ten years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Five to seven years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Knowledge of Quality and Environmental Systems including TS16949, ISO14001 and Ford/Chysler LLC Customer Specific Requirements; Auditing experience and certification.
- Knowledge of AIAG standards (PPAP, MSA, FMEA, LPA)
- Proficient knowledge in SAP QM Module.
- Proficient in Microsoft office
- Must be a strong communicator and work well in teams. Must have strong written and verbal communication skills.
