Job DescriptionProject Management
• Drive component introduction within the customer and development projects• Perform Risk Analysis & create risk mitigation plan along with Supplier, SQM P and project team.
• Drive the risk mitigation plan over the PLC and initiate corrective actions (e.g. escalation) if the risk mitigation plan is not on track.
Supplier Selection
• Identify missing or not up-to-date audits / GQA and request (re-)audit/completion if required from responsible SQM
• Track and plan execution of SCR
• Ensure in-time sourcing of feasible suppliers with decisions signed according signature rules
Component Introduction
• Plan, initiate and control failure prevention orientated, advanced quality management measures in the design/development phase for supplied parts
• Plan, initiate, implement and control the appropriate supplier quality assurance measures along the complete process chain in the make/market phase for all supplied goods and services
• Implement and control of quality improvement and development programs of suppliers
• Prepare and execute visits and management meetings with suppliers
• Troubleshooting for supplier problems and support Supplier Quality Management (SQM) Plants for escalation
• Ensure in-time releases of new components
Performance & Reporting
• Regular update of APQP Status via SupplyOn.
• To feedback continuously APQP / PPAP status from SQM towards project team / engineering / SQM P
• To feedback APQP / PPAP status from SQM towards customer on demand
Lessons Learned
• Promote Lessons Learned within BA and SQM (related to component introduction, component specification, supplier selection, technology experience, new business models ...)
Escalation Management
• Support Escalation management regarding SQM topics for cross-product family / customer cases
QualificationsRequired Qualifications:
- Bachelor degree in Engineering
- 2 or more years of experience in the automotive industry
- Knowledge of APQP and PPAP processes
- Technical understanding of mechanical components
- Able to read blueprints/drawings and interpret specifications
- Understanding and capability to collaborate with different foreign cultures
- Knowledge of Quality Management (including standards of Quality system requirements, policies and norms Risk Management
- Management skills, tools and techniques which ensures a strategic, profit and resulted oriented handling (Balanced Scorecard, Benchmarking, etc.)
- Collaboration skills (team skills, conflict management, open-mindedness, networking)
- Communication skills, including Presentation and Negotiation techniques to operate in different cultures
- Problem solving and decision-making tools and techniques. Project management skills, tools and techniques. Sourcing

Preferred Qualifications- 5 years of experience in the automotive environment with a focus in SQM or quality
- Experience with IATF 16949, VDA 6.3, AIAG
- Knowledge of SPC and Special Characteristics
- Experience in working with international teams on SQM or quality issues
- Process and Product Life Cycle (PLC) knowledge
- Knowledge of technical cleanliness and PFMEA
