Job DescriptionAs a Sr Supplier Development Engineer within the Integrated Supply Chain Supplier Readiness casting and forgings organization here at Honeywell, you will lead and manage advanced manufacturing operations to drive operational excellence, process optimization, and innovation in our manufacturing processes.
You will report directly to our Director Supplier Development Engineer, and you'll work out of our Greer, SC location on a remote work schedule.
In this role, you will impact the company by developing and implementing advanced manufacturing strategies, leading cross-functional teams, and driving continuous improvement initiatives that enhance productivity, improve product quality, and drive cost efficiencies within our external casting and forging supply chain.

50% travel is required for this role. QualificationsYOU MUST HAVE- Bachelor's degree from an accredited institution in a technical discipline such as science, technology, engineering, mathematics
- Extensive experience in advanced manufacturing engineering and process optimization with 3+ years of experience working in casting manufacturing
- Strong knowledge of advanced manufacturing technologies, such as automation, robotics, and additive manufacturing
- Proven track record of driving operational excellence and process improvements
- Excellent leadership and people management skills
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Ability to work effectively in cross-functional teams
- Must have experience working with Investment casting, Sand casting, Single crystal, Directionally solidified, Equiaxed, Ceramic core, Permanent mold, Inconel
- Must have deep knowledge of investment casting and the associated manufacturing processes.
WE VALUE- Master's or Ph.D. degree in Engineering or related field
- 10+ years of manufacturing experience in castings (sand, investment, fine grain, cored, aluminum, magnesium, Inconel, stainless steel, iron, titanium, etc)
- Tier 1 or 2 aerospace, industrial gas turbine or automotive supply chain experience
- Expertise in implementing advanced manufacturing technologies and processes
- Ability to think strategically and drive change in a dynamic environment
- Strong project management skills
- Knowledge of industry best practices and emerging trends in advanced manufacturing
- Commitment to continuous learning and professional development
- Ability to mentor and develop junior engineers
