Position Description: CGI is seeking a Supervisory Supply Technician to provide support to the U.S. Department of Homeland Security (DHS) in Washington, DC.
Your future duties and responsibilities:
. Demonstrate analytical ability to define or recognize the scope of problems, collect necessary data to establish facts, and take or recommend actions based on the application or interpretation of established guidelines.
. Train and manage tasks for junior staff.
. Serve as a liaison with Federal clients on priority matters.
. Possess an understanding of the needs of the serviced organization.
. Manage inventory and utilize the necessary asset management system.
. Oversee storage management and cataloging.
. Ensure effective property utilization.
. May operate hand or power trucks as needed to perform warehousing duties.
Required qualifications to be successful in this role:
. Previous supervisory experience is preferred.
. Possess a working knowledge of governing supply systems, programs, policies, nomenclature, work methods, manuals, and other established guidelines.
. Demonstrate robust safety protocols and effective use of warehouse management systems (WMS) and data tracking.
. Must have 3 or more years of experience in warehouse or supply management.
. Ability to lift up to 50 pounds.
Hourly Rate: $40.97/hour
