Summary

You will serve as a SUPERVISORY PROGRAM MANAGER in the Northwest Regional Maintenance Center (NWRMC) of PSNS and IMF.

Duties

Help

  • You will develop goals and objectives that are assigned to subordinates based on priorities and considering the experience required and the capabilities of the assigned employees.
  • You will plan and schedule work in a manner that promotes a smooth flow and even distribution of work within the branch.
  • You will identify requirements and initiates requests for additional resources including personnel, overtime, equipment, supplies, and space to ensure success in meeting goals and objectives.
  • You will perform Branch Manager level functions of oversight and development of first line supervisors and Shipbuilding Specialists assigned within the program.
  • You will identify and initiate action to correct, prevent, and minimize delays, resolving all problems that affect quality schedule and contractor performance.
  • You will advise all stakeholders or project status through periodic production meetings, status reports, and the customer feedback loop.


Qualifications

Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-12 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: leading a team in the planning and execution of ship maintenance, repair, or modernization, evaluating the performance of multi-disciplinary teams; resolving escalated technical or contractual conflicts; standardizing project management processes; or managing the distribution of resources (budget, manpower, or facilities) to ensure projects meet cost, schedule, and quality requirements.
