SummaryThe incumbent of this position supervises a staff of program support employees within the immediate office of the Asset Management Branch (AMB). The AMB Chief will be responsible for managing a staff of professional employees in the planning, research and development of policies, procedures and programs that relate directly to the support of the lifecycle of an asset.

The major duties of the Supervisory Program Analyst position include, but are not limited to, the following:
- Exercises full supervisory authority over Program Analysts, Contractors, and other administrative and technical support personnel assigned within the immediate office of the Asset Management Branch.
- Assigns work, reviews it for technical accuracy and adherence to the law and appropriate regulations, and evaluates employee performance.
- Develops and implements policies, procedures and programs that relate to the support of the life cycle of an asset.
- Prepares budgetary requirements and justifications for the activities and programs of the Branch and manages centrally controlled contracts budgetary items for which the Branch is responsible.

- Selective Service registration is required for males born on, or after, December 31st 1959. Those not registered should have an approved exemption on file.
- May be required to serve a one-year probationary period.
- You must be a current permanent Department of Justice, ATF employee with competitive status or a CTAP/RPL eligible candidate.
- Suitable for Federal employment determined by background investigation.

MOBILITY PLAN: New employees hired pursuant to this vacancy announcement must sign a mobility agreement. To accomplish these objectives, the mobility plan will facilitate the movement of employees through special short-term assignments or permanent reassignments throughout the Bureau. QualificationsTo qualify for the Supervisory Program Analyst position at the GS-14 grade, you must meet the following requirements by the closing date of this announcement.
Minimum QualificationsSpecialized experience is demonstrated experience, which has equipped the applicant with the particular knowledge, skills and abilities to perform successfully the duties of this position. Experience must be in the normal line of progression or must be related to the work of the position advertised and must be reflected in resume.
To qualify for this position at the GS-14 grade level, candidates must meet the following
specialized experience by the closing date of this announcement.
EXPERIENCE: Candidates must have at least one year of
specialized experience equivalent to the next lower grade level (GS-13).
This experience must include
all of the following:
- Mentoring and providing guidance to employees in asset forfeiture; AND
- Managing and exchanging information with colleagues and government agencies effecting multi-million-dollar programs; AND
- Planning, coordinating, and executing innovative and strategic process improvements.
