The purpose of this position is to serve as supervisor of the Program Management Office and the Internal Operations Manager, a member of the N management team with responsibility for planning, supervising, and leading programs, systems, and work processes that are necessary to perform the critical mission and support activities.

As a Supervisory Management Analyst, you will:- Exercise delegated supervisory authorities and responsibilities.
- Plan work to be accomplished by subordinates, set and adjust priorities, and prepare schedules for completion of work.
- Develop performance standards and evaluate the work performance of subordinates.
- Approve expenses comparable to within-grade increases, extensive overtime, and employee travel.
- Ensure team-oriented, effective, harmonious, and productive formal and informal working relationships.
- Work directly for and serve as the overall programmatic advisor and expert consultant to the Chief Administrative Officer and Deputy
- Plan, coordinate and monitor critical strategic activities and special projects as assigned by the Chief Administrative Officer and Deputy.
- Represents N and/or the BPA in working directly with executive-level personnel, managers and staff in BPA, other Federal agencies; State and local authorities; and other stakeholders.

Conditions of employmentTemporary Promotion (BPA-only): This is a temporary promotion, not to exceed one (1) year, may be extended up to five (5) years total; MAY be made permanent without further competition. Details are processed in 120 day increments and may be extended up to two (2) years total; additional extensions may be approved at the discretion of the Human Resources Service Center Director. Upon termination of the detail, you will be returned to your original position of record. QualificationsSPECIALIZED EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTSA qualified candidate's resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience equivalent to the next lower grade level (GS-13) in the Federal service.
Specialized Experience for this position is defined as: 1) planning and leading programs, systems, and work processes that are necessary to perform the critical mission and support activities required of the organization; AND 2) providing guidance and analyses in the coordination of programs and activities, including planning and scheduling, operational performance, regulatory compliance, or administrative support functions."Experience" refers to paid and unpaid experience. Examples of qualifying unpaid experience may include: volunteer work done through National Service programs (such as Peace Corps and AmeriCorps); as well as work for other community-based philanthropic and social organizations. Volunteer work helps build critical competencies, knowledge, and skills; and can provide valuable training and experience that translates directly to paid employment. You will receive credit for all qualifying experience, including volunteer experience.
