The primary purpose of this position is to exercise 1st level supervisory and position management responsibilities over subordinate employees within the 407 SCMS/. Directs work activities through subordinates with responsibility for maintaining a current knowledge and guiding subordinate employees to provide advice, accountability, and expertise on a continuous basis.
Mission Statement: Provides world-class operational support for ground-to-ground and ground-to-air communication necessary for warfighters to safely and securely communicate to and from designated target/destination. The flight provides sustainment, logistics support continuous improvement, increased effectiveness and efficiency for over 200 systems to include airborne radios, data links and ground communication radios used by DoD, Foreign Military Sales (FMS) and Allied Forces with a with a 45 member team executing a forecasted $33M annual budget.
Requirements:
1. Must be a U.S. Citizen.
2. Obtain & maintain a Security clearance (if applicable).
3. No PCS expenses will be paid.
4. Work may occasionally require travel away from the normal duty.
5. May be required to work extended or other than normal duty hours.

6. Ability to identify, analyze, and translate complex information, make appropriate judgments, and evaluate options.
7. Ability to analyze, plan, and adjust work operations of one or more organizational segments to meet program requirements and objectives within available resources.
8. Ability to utilize AoP concepts and initiatives to plan, organize, and direct the functions and staff of an organization.
