Ordinarily there should be either an established plan of intensive training to develop professional engineering competence, or several years of prior professional engineering-type experience, e.g., in interdisciplinary positions.

Specialized Experience: One year of specialized experience which includes 1) Leading multi-disciplinary teams in the execution of a civil works program or project; AND 2) Developing resource plans, budgets, and schedules for a civil works program or project.
