- Serve as senior analyst for a specific geographical area or highly specialized functional area, responsible for solving difficult and complex analytical problems.
- Develop in-depth intelligence analytical assessments to determine best methodology to counter enemy threat forces or technology in proximity to an operational objective area.
- Prepare and edit integrated intelligence products, such as briefings, intelligence assessments, and feasibility assessments, intelligence estimates, and annexes to
operational orders. - Attend conferences and meetings held by the various governmental and military intelligence agencies in furtherance of the information needs of the command as
dictated by contingency plans. - Establishes long-range plans to satisfy intelligence shortfalls within a functional area or geographic area of responsibility.
- Set performance standards, appraise employee performance, approve and disapprove leave, resolve complaints, and take remedial action as necessary regarding performance problem areas.

- In accordance with Change 3 to AR 600-85, Alcohol and Drug Abuse Prevention and Control Program, individual must successfully pass a urinalysis screening for illegal drug use prior to appointment and periodically thereafter.
- Must be able to obtain and maintain a Top-Secret security clearance with access to Sensitive Compartmented Information (SCI) and selected Special Access Program (SAPs) based on a Tier 5 (or equivalent) investigation.
- This is a testing designated position. Personnel are required to sign DA Form 5019-R (Condition of Employment for Certain Civilian Positions Identified as critical under the Department of the Army Drug-Free Federal Workplace Program).
- Personnel must pass drug screening prior to hiring and will be subject to periodic and random drug testing, thereafter, in accordance with AR 600-85 and Department of Defense Directive 2010.9.
- May require TDY travel over more than 30 days to CONUS and OCONUS locations up to 30% of the time. This may require travel on military aircraft, ships and vehicles.

To qualify based on your experience, your resume must describe at least one year of experience which prepared you to do the work in this job. Specialized experience is defined as:
1. Experience in detailed Intelligence analysis of a specific regional geographic or functional area. AND
2. Experience producing high-level Intelligence products and providing rapid-response Intelligence assessments to support mission planning during time-sensitive crises. AND
3. Experience formulating intelligence plans, developing regulations and standard operating procedures (SOPS), policies and guidance and/or providing direction to subordinate commands for intelligence support.
Progressively responsible experience is that which has included intelligence-related research, analysis, collections and /or operations. This experience should have included intelligence analysis and/or production, intelligence collection and/or operations, counterintelligence, or threat support directly related to the position to be filled. This experience should demonstrate: Knowledge of intelligence processes, cycle and organizations; Knowledge of and/or ability to use research tools such as library holdings, photographs, statistics, graphics and maps; Knowledge of the systems, procedures and methods of analyzing, compiling, reporting and disseminating intelligence data; and/or Knowledge of organization(s) for and methods of collecting and analyzing intelligence data.
