Summary

This is a public notice flyer to notify interested applicants of anticipated vacancies. Applications will not be accepted through this flyer. Duties

Help

  • You will be able to supervise technical/administrative staff operations and manage programs.
  • You will be able to analyze, evaluate and access the organization's staffing requirements and recommend solutions and strategies to accomplish mission goals and objectives.
  • You will be able to effectively communicate verbally and in writing to audiences at various echelons within and outside the organization.
  • You will have expert knowledge of and skill in applying principles, practices, and techniques in recruitment and placement to sufficiently provide expert authoritative advice to managers and supervisors in order to analyze and resolve issues.
  • You will serve as a recognized expert by other senior HR staff and program managers and develop appropriate interventions for management on significant recruitment and placement issues and concerns.

  • Within the Department of Defense (DoD), the appointment of retired military members within 180 days immediately following retirement date to a civilian position is subject to the provisions of 5 United States Code 3326.

  • You will be required to obtain and maintain an interim and/or final security clearance prior to entrance on duty. Failure to obtain and maintain the required level of clearance may result in the withdrawal of a job offer or removal.
  • This position may require travel from normal duty station to CONUS and OCONUS and may include remote or isolated sites. You must be able to travel on military and commercial aircraft for extended periods of time.


Qualifications

Your resume must also demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the NH-03 pay band or GS-13 grade level equivalent in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: experience and skill in applying, a wide range of advanced Recruitment and Placement principles, concepts, and practices, as well as seasoned consultative skills sufficient to: provide management consultative service involving the recruitment and placement function to perform a key role in rendering expert advisory service and/or authoritative policy interpretations on highly complex agency-wide or equivalent issues (e.g., AcqDemo-related reengineered and improved recruitment and placement HR processes).

This announcement uses the AcqDemo Business and Technical Management direct hire authority to recruit and appoint qualified candidates to positions in the competitive service.

This position is part of the Department of Defense Civilian Acquisition Workforce Personnel Demonstration Project. The NH-4 broadband level encompasses positions equivalent to GS-14 and GS-15.

This position is covered by the Department of Defense Priority Placement Program.

Several vacancies may be filled.
