Opens: 29 July 2026 Closes: 12 August 2026 Air Force Nuclear Weapons Center (AFNWC) is currently seeking a full-time Supervisory Equipment Specialist [redacted]M to work in the AFNWC Air Delivered Capabilities Directorate at Kirtland Air Force Base near Albuquerque, NM. Value of Position (VoP): NH-1670-03 which has a typical 2026 salary range of $85,355- $118,204 (basic salary without locality included) Locality for Albuquerque-Santa Fe area is 18.33% of basic salary ** If your current basic salary is within the band, but above the VOP range, your basic salary will not be reduced if you are selected for the position. The primary purpose of this position is to serve as a Section Supervisor in the Technical Data Branch, Nuclear Systems Integration Division (NDST), overseeing Weapons Loading Technical Manuals and Weapons Delivery Flight Manuals for the B-2A, B-52H, B-21A, F-35A, F-15E, PA-200, LRSO, ALCM, C-17 aircraft and munitions trailers. Skillsets that are highly desired for this role - • Nuclear weapons loading experience (on bombers and/or fighters) • Conventional weapons loading experience (on bombers and/or fighters) • Supervisory experience (civilian and/or military) DUTIES: • Serve as the senior SME and technical expert to resolve programmatic issues and conflicts with-in Tech order acquisition and sustainment. • Provide guidance to individuals/teams and resolve conflicts to address issues and disconnects within T.O. acquisition and sustainment, lead and manage interactions with AFMC, AFGSC, Northrup Grumman, and Boeing concerning the development and processing of technical order updates • Effectively supervise employees by practicing and complying with applicable Occupational Health and Safety rules and practices; Security requirements; fiscal/resource constraints; Change Management principles; and the Administration's and Department's recruitment and hiring reform initiatives. • Coordinate on Recommended Changes approved by assigned Technical Content Managers. • Develop process improvements for AFNWC T.O.'s and related documents.
