Toshiba International Corporation is seeking a Supervisor Supply Chain to play a key role in optimizing manufacturing performance through advanced planning, scheduling, and execution systems.
In this highly visible role, you will partner with manufacturing leadership, plant planners, IT, and supply chain teams to develop world-class production planning strategies while leading the configuration and implementation of Baan SCS Planning, Scheduling, and Execution tools. You'll help drive TIC's Production Synchronization Initiative (PSI), enhance operational efficiency, improve planning accuracy, and support our continued growth.

What You'll DoProduction Planning & Scheduling- Support the development of short-range and long-range manufacturing and assembly schedules.
- Collaborate with plant planners to align production plans with forecasted demand and business objectives.
- Evaluate production capacity, material availability, and resource constraints to ensure optimal scheduling performance.
- Contribute to master planning efforts that support TIC's Production Synchronization Initiative (PSI).
Systems Implementation & Optimization- Configure, implement, and continuously improve Baan SCS Planning, Scheduling, and Execution tools.
- Drive adoption of system best practices across manufacturing and supply chain operations.
- Analyze production performance and identify opportunities to improve planning accuracy, throughput, and inventory management.
- Serve as a subject matter expert for production planning processes and supporting technologies.
Process Improvement & Leadership- Establish and document roles, responsibilities, and workflows within the production planning and scheduling function.
- Develop improvement plans that increase manufacturing efficiency, productivity, and schedule adherence.
- Partner with leadership teams to identify opportunities for operational excellence and continuous improvement.
Training & Organizational Development- Define training requirements for production planning and scheduling processes.
- Collaborate with IT and training teams to develop training materials and curriculum.
- Deliver training and educational sessions to management and end-users regarding Baan SCS functionality and capabilities.
- Promote user adoption and effective utilization of planning systems throughout the organization.
Culture & Collaboration- Foster a culture of safety, teamwork, accountability, and continuous improvement.
- Support and promote Toshiba policies, values, and operational standards.
- Work cross-functionally with Manufacturing, Supply Chain, IT, Engineering, and Operations teams to achieve business objectives.
What We're Looking ForRequired Qualifications- Minimum 1 year of manufacturing, production planning, supply chain, or plant operations experience.
- Working knowledge of:
- Bills of Material (BOMs)
- Routing structures
- Work center scheduling
- Master production planning
- Capacity planning
- Manufacturing operations
Preferred Qualifications- Experience with Baan IV ERP and/or Baan SCS applications.
- Knowledge of:
- Baan SCS Planning
- Baan SCS Scheduling
- Baan SCS Execution
- Manufacturing or supply chain systems implementation experience.
- Experience developing training programs and facilitating workshops.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent communication and cross-functional collaboration abilities.
- Continuous improvement mindset with a focus on operational excellence.
Technical SkillsExperience with one or more of the following:
- ERP/MRP systems (Baan preferred)
- Production planning and scheduling software
- Microsoft Excel
- Microsoft Word
- Windows-based business applications
- Supply chain analytics and reporting tools
