Job Location: Brucejack CampWorkplace Type:Onsite Recruiter Name: Regan Shiu Pay Grade: Level 1 Your ImpactLead the safe, compliant, and efficient execution of structural, mechanical, and piping construction activities on major capital projects. As the Owner's representative, you will ensure contractor work meets project requirements for safety, quality, schedule, and operational readiness while helping deliver successful project outcomes.
As Part of the Team- Champion a strong safety culture and support critical risk management in the field.
- Oversee contractor performance and ensure work aligns with approved drawings, specifications, and project standards.
- Coordinate with engineering, project controls, commissioning, operations, and contractor teams to resolve issues and maintain progress.
- Verify quality inspections, testing activities, and turnover documentation.
- Support commissioning, handover, and project completion activities.
Prerequisites- Red Seal Trade Qualification, Engineering Technologist Diploma, or Degree in Mechanical, Structural, Piping, or a related discipline.
- 10+ years of industrial construction experience.
- Experience supervising SMP construction activities in mining, heavy industrial, energy, infrastructure, or process plant environments.
- Strong knowledge of structural steel, mechanical equipment installation, piping systems, quality management, and contractor oversight.
- Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings, specifications, and construction documentation.
Work Environment- Site-based position supporting major capital project execution.
- Frequent interaction with contractors, engineers, project teams, commissioning personnel, and operations stakeholders.
- Active field presence required, including participation in inspections, safety engagements, and construction coordination activities.

The expected salary range for this role is CAD $105,800.00 - $141,100.00 + 15% STIP. This range is tied to the British Columbia market for jobs performed in British Columbia. The salary offer to the successful candidate will be based on job-related education, training, and/or experience.
