As A Part of the Team You Will- Be responsible for system vulnerability scanning and vulnerability remediation activities.
- Test system weakness to determine attack path exploitation.
- Work through cross function teams to ensure patch compliance rules and guidelines are followed.
- Track progress of cyber risk and ensure critical issues are closed.
- Perform security assessments and TPRM reviews to identify cyber risk
Prerequisites for Your Success In This Role- Bachelor's degree in Science, Engineering, Information Technology, Business Management, or a related field.
- Proficiency in cybersecurity tools and technologies (e.g., firewalls, intrusion detection/prevention systems, SIEM).
- Experience with vulnerability management and penetration testing tools.
- Experience with scanning platforms such as Tenable, Rapid7, Qualys and Nessus.
- Strong knowledge or Windows and Linux platforms
- Strong skills in incident response and forensic analysis.
- Knowledge of encryption, authentication, and access control mechanisms.
- Ability to design and implement secure network architectures for OT environments.
- Familiarity with programming and scripting languages (e.g., Python, PowerShell) for automation and analysis.
Your Work EnvironmentThe preferred location for candidates is near our corporate headquarters, in Denver, Colorado or at our HUB in Perth, Australia.
Collaboration and interaction are expected with teams across the global, regional, and site organization as well as across other service and operational areas of Newmont across multiple time zones.
The listed salary range applies to positions based in Colorado. Compensation may vary for candidates hired in other locations.
Work Environment, Pay & Benefits:This position is based in either our Denver, CO corporate headquarters or our Perth, Australia HUB with flexibility for hybrid work
The base salary range is $86,500-$115,300 (reflecting market rates and your qualifications). The final base pay offer will be based on individual factors such as your experience, and skills - we do not ask for or use your prior pay in setting your compensation. You will also be eligible for an annual discretionary bonus based on company and personal performance.
