How you will make history here...The Quality Supervisor is responsible for supporting and executing plant quality, food safety, and sanitation programs to ensure compliance with Campbell's Global Food Safety and Quality Standards and all applicable regulatory requirements. This role provides direct supervision of Quality Technicians and supports daily operations to ensure products meet established specifications and standards.
The Quality Supervisor partners closely with Production, Sanitation, and Maintenance teams to drive food safety and quality compliance, support investigations, and ensure timely resolution of issues. This position reports to the Quality Assurance Manager and plays a key role in reinforcing a strong food safety culture across the plant.
What you will do...Quality Systems & Compliance
• Support execution of plant quality programs aligned with Campbell's Global Food Safety and Quality Standards.
• Monitor compliance with GMPs, HACCP, SQF, and food safety requirements on the production floor.
• Conduct routine floor audits to verify adherence to food safety, quality, and sanitation standards.
• Ensure all required documentation is completed accurately and in a timely manner.
• Escalate non-compliance issues and partner with leadership to drive correction.
Audits, Risk Management & CAPA
• Support internal audits and assist in preparing for regulatory and third-party audits.
• Participate in root cause analysis and corrective and preventive action (CAPA) activities.
• Track and follow up on corrective actions to ensure timely completion and effectiveness.
• Assist with Environmental Monitoring Program (EMP) activities as needed.
Product Quality & Incident Support
• Monitor product quality throughout production, including raw materials, in-process, and finished goods.
• Support investigation of quality issues, non-conformances, and consumer complaints.
• Assist in troubleshooting product or process deviations and partner with operations on solutions.
• Ensure proper holds, releases, and disposition of product in accordance with procedures.
Sanitation & Food Safety Programs
• Verify sanitation practices and support compliance with plant sanitation standards.
• Conduct pre-operational inspections and ensure readiness of production lines.
• Partner with Sanitation team to address deficiencies and ensure timely corrections.
• Reinforce food safety practices and proper hygiene standards among employees.
Continuous Improvement & Cross-Functional Leadership
• Identify opportunities to improve quality processes and reduce risk.
• Support implementation of continuous improvement initiatives (LEAN, CAPA, etc.).
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to improve product quality and process consistency.
• Assist in tracking and reporting key quality metrics.
People Supervision & Training
• Provide daily supervision and direction to Quality Technicians.
• Train and coach employees on GMPs, food safety, and quality expectations.
• Ensure team adherence to policies, procedures, and plant standards.
• Support onboarding and training of new employees within the Quality function.
• Promote a culture of food safety, accountability, and continuous improvement.
• Provides front-line supervision of quality activities within a manufacturing environment.
• Executes established quality systems and supports compliance initiatives.
• Works cross-functionally to resolve day-to-day quality and food safety issues.
• Supports audit readiness and regulatory compliance efforts.
• Balances production demands with adherence to food safety and quality standards.
Who you will work with...- Report into Quality Manager
What you will bring to the table... (Must Have)• High School Diploma or GED required
• 3+ years of quality plant or quality systems experience with demonstrated progressive responsibility
It would be great if you have... (Nice to Have)• Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Food Science, Biology, Chemistry, or related field
• 3+ years of managerial or leadership experience in food manufacturing
• Certifications preferred: PCQI, HACCP, GFSI (SQF)
• Strong working knowledge of Food Safety, Regulatory, and Quality Systems in food processing environments
Compensation and Benefits:The target base salary range for this full-time, salaried position is between
$72,000-$103,500
Individual base pay depends on work location and additional factors such as experience, job-related skills, and relevant education or training. Total pay may include other forms of compensation. In addition, we offer competitive health, dental, 401k and wellness benefits beginning on the first day of employment.
