Microchip is planning to fill the following position with a talented, creative and motivated individual.
We're looking for Assembly Supervisor who is responsible for overseeing and coordinating assembly line operations, ensuring product quality, safety, and efficient production while managing and guiding assembly staff.
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:- Lead and manage assembly teams on the production floor, ensuring that daily production targets are met while maintaining high-quality standards and safety compliance.
- Supervising and coordinating assembly staff across multiple workstations, assigning tasks, setting priorities, and balancing workloads to meet production schedules
- Translate daily production schedules into clear priorities and staffing assignments.
- Partner with Engineering on process enhancements, equipment repairs, and preventive maintenance.
- Maintain accurate electronic records (training logs, payroll, performance notes) and report key metrics.
Requirements/Qualifications:- Minimum 2 years in Glass diode assembly supervisory or group leader role.
- Hands-on experience with assembly operations and production systems (ERP or AX).
- Ability to troubleshoot operational issues and perform root cause analysis.
- Strong communication, problem-solving, and team management abilities.
- Data-driven decision-maker with lean/process-improvement experience.
- Inspiring coach and communicator-able to build and lead high-performing teams.
- Safety-focused mindset with a commitment to zero incidents.

The annual base salary range for this position, which could be performed in the US, is $46,000-$128,000.*
*Range is dependent on numerous factors including job location, skills and experience.
