POSITION TYPE: Administration - Full-time 12 months
QUALIFICATIONS: Masters Degree, Supervisory Certification, 3-5 years of satisfactory classroom teaching experience, experience with virtual/online instruction required, experience with administrative leadership with online program leadership/supervision preferred - a valid driver's license are required
ADDITIONAL INFORMATION: (1)Provides leadership and guidance for the district's K-12 mathematics program, including curriculum development, instruction, and assessment.
- Provides leadership and guidance to district administrators and teachers in the utilization of data in making instructional and curricular decisions.
- Supports building administrators with supervisory and evaluation functions for select math-certified instructors. Co-lead (with the Supervisor of K-12 ELA) the district assessment functions, including standardized testing.
- Plan and lead professional development activities and functions for the district (K-12).
- Assist in the development of the annual C&I and Assessment Budgets. Routine analysis of content-related data, including plans for continuous growth and improvement.
- Seek ongoing professional development for her/himself to remain current in the content area and field of education.
- This position requires traveling between buildings within the district.
