Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience required.
• 1-3 years' supervisory experience in a maintenance/manufacturing unionized environment.
• Familiarity with Lean Manufacturing and Continuous Improvement practices.
• Knowledge of GMPs, OHSA, and WHMIS regulations.
• Millwright or Electrical certification preferred.
• Intermediate skills in computer and database applications like SAP.
• Experience in Beverage and Food Manufacturing is an asset.

Responsibilities

• Maintain all facility equipment to meet company standards.
• Ensure compliance with federal, provincial, and internal regulations.
• Monitor daily Quality Index and address quality issues.
• Analyze and report on budget versus planned forecasts.
• Conduct department and safety meetings regularly.
• Supervise, coach, and train workforce effectively.
• Communicate departmental plans and strategies clearly.
• Oversee and approve departmental scheduling and contractor requests.
