Job descriptionIn the role of Supervisor, Logistics you'll play a pivotal part on our logistics team. The Stockroom Supervisor supervises a team of stockroom clerks to ensure effective utilization of resources to support the business operation. This job reports to the Logistics Manager.
This position contributes to our vision by:
1. Supervise stockroom clerks, plan work assignments, schedule daily activities and overtime needs.
2. Develop time standards for each job function and clearly communicate expectations to employees.
3. Train stockroom clerks on Safran Logistics and Stockroom Standards as well as MRP transactions.
4. Execute cycle counts in an organized manner. Maintain inventory cycle count program and reports metrics as required.
5. Analyze cycle count results to identify problem areas and implement improvements.
6. Monitor supply usage patterns and place purchase requisitions.
7. Interface with Planning and Production to establish and improve material delivery practices.
8. Understand and complete transactions in ERP system to maintain inventory accuracy.
9. Ensure all safety requirements are met for mobile equipment, inventory area and raw material storage area.
10. Perform all other duties as assigned.

The expected salary range for this position is between USD $70,310 - $91,870. Actual compensation will be determined based on experience, education, and other factors permitted by law.
Candidate skills & requirementsQualifications:
Education: Associate's degree or equivalent experience (+2 years)
Knowledge: Strong understanding of warehouse and/or stockroom procedures, standards and knowledge of Quality Control Standards and systems. Previous forklift experience and certification is preferred, forklift certification required within first 30 days of employment.
Experience: 7 or more years of experience in manufacturing environment, plus 2 years of leadership experience in a manufacturing environment
Computer Skill: Proficient use of Microsoft Word, Excel, email, ERP system.
Other Skills: Well organized, planning and time management skills, quality oriented, problem solving. Ability to lead teams, conduct meetings, give direction/delegate, and train/coach/mentor employees. Able to operate all material handling equipment in all site stock locations.
