Department OverviewLocated at our Global Headquarters in Chicago, IL, the U.S. Learning & Development team is seeking a
Hamburger University (HU) Facilitator to deliver high-quality, instructor-led learning experiences that support leadership development, job-specific capability building, and individual performance improvement.
The HU Facilitator serves as a key contributor to the design, delivery, and continuous improvement of learning programs that align with organizational priorities and drive business results. This role requires strong facilitation capability, the application of adult learning principles, and effective collaboration with cross-functional partners.
DutiesThe following statements represent the essential functions of the role. Other duties may be assigned as needed.
Facilitation & Learning Delivery- Facilitate instructor-led learning experiences for diverse audiences across multiple organizational levels in primarily classroom-based settings, with occasional virtual delivery.
- Apply adult learning principles to support effective knowledge transfer, skill development, and learner engagement.
- Utilize classroom technology and learning tools to enhance delivery and participant experience.
- Collaborate with co-facilitators, producers, and partners to deliver consistent, high-quality learning experiences.
Learning Excellence & Continuous Improvement- Stay current on business initiatives, enterprise priorities, and learning resources to ensure relevance and impact.
- Participate in needs analysis and support the recommendation, design, and evaluation of learning or performance solutions.
- Support program evaluation and measurement efforts and implement improvements based on feedback and data.
Stakeholder & Partner Collaboration- Represent Hamburger University and U.S. Learning & Development in a professional manner across the organization.
- Build and maintain effective working relationships with peers, leaders, field partners, vendors, and other stakeholders.
- Consult and collaborate with Field Training and Field Operations to support alignment and consistency.
Operational & Team Support- Coordinate learning logistics in accordance with budget, timelines, and project requirements.
- Support department goals, initiatives, and cross-functional projects as assigned.
- Demonstrate adaptability, self-awareness, and openness to feedback.
Salary RangeThe expected salary range for this role is $78,281.00 - $97,852.00 per year
