Overview:

Sentara Norfolk General Hospital is hiring a Supervisor-Inpatient Case Manager Registered Nurse.

This position is full-time day shift

Requirements:

Registered Nurse - BSN Required

3 years case management

Prior supervisor experience

The Supervisor, Inpatient Case Manager RN, assumes responsibility, accountability and leadership for the daily operations including coordination of work, quality, and service. First line supervisor in the Department of Inpatient Case Management for assigned hospital location. Facilitates the work of assigned team members. Provides a leadership role in ongoing case manager competency assessment, needs identification and educational offerings. Provides educational services to the Medical Care Management staff . Participates in the work activities of assigned teams and provides case management services as needed. Functions in one of the following practice settings: Hospitals only

Certification in Case Management (CCM, CMAC or ACM-SW) required within one year of eligibility.
