Your Impact

As a Supervisor, Fixed Plant, you will lead and coordinate maintenance programs to ensure the reliability, safety, and efficiency of Red Chris Mine's processing and fixed plant assets. Your leadership will play a key role in maintaining equipment performance and supporting operational excellence in alignment with Newmont's safety and asset management standards.

As Part of Our Team, You Will

  • Supervise daily fixed plant maintenance activities across processing and mill areas.
  • Ensure safe, efficient, and cost-effective execution of maintenance work.
  • Coordinate with planners, operators, and contractors to minimize downtime and optimize asset reliability.
  • Lead and develop a high-performing maintenance team through coaching and technical guidance.
  • Monitor asset performance and implement improvement initiatives using SAP and other CMMS tools.
  • Maintain compliance with Newmont's safety standards, FRM programs, and site procedures.
  • Support budgeting, scheduling, and reporting for maintenance performance and cost control.
  • Drive continuous improvement and QA/QC practices across maintenance operations.


Prerequisites for Your Success in This Role

  • Valid Red Seal Millwright certification (required)
  • Strong fixed plant or mill maintenance experience in a mining or heavy industrial environment
  • Supervisory or lead hand experience in maintenance or asset management
  • Strong knowledge of processing plant systems, mechanical reliability, and safety compliance
  • Experience working with SAP or similar CMMS for maintenance planning and reporting
  • Familiarity with Newmont safety standards and FRM programs considered an asset
  • Proven leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills with a safety-first mindset


Your Work Environment

  • Location: Red Chris Mine, Northern British Columbia (fly-in/fly/out)
  • Rotation: 15/13
  • Conditions: Surface plant and mill environment with heavy equipment exposure
  • Requirements: Pre-employment medical, drug & alcohol testing, and PPE compliance


The expected salary range for this role is CA$105,800.00 - 141,100.00 . This range is tied to the British Columbia market for jobs performed in British Columbia. The salary offer to the successful candidate will be based on job-related education, training, and/or experience. The salary offer will not be based on a candidate's pay history at other jobs, and by law, Newmont will not seek information about pay history, and candidates should not share such information with Newmont.
