Full Job Description

A Day in Your Life at MKS:
As an Equipment Maintenance Supervisor at MKS, you will partner with facilities team to lead equipment maintenance and repairs in a semiconductor manufacturing environment. In this role, you will report to the Senior Facilities Manager.

You Will Make an Impact By:

• Plan,coordinateand direct the day-to-day activities of maintenance staff to expeditework order processing, production breakdown response, efficient project completion, and implementation of other maintenance policies and procedures and to ensure work is performed in compliance with established guidelines for safety and productivity.

• Collaborate with operations team to prioritize equipment uptime.
• Plan and coordinate the activities of external contractors on projects related to equipment maintenance, performance improvement and modifications.
• Ensure work assignments are prioritized, and Computer Maintenance Management System is being managed on a daily basis.
• Diagnoses equipment problems, determines the extent of repairs needed, and inspects completed work for quality control.

• Participate in customer and internal audits.

Skills You Bring:

  • Bachelor's degree or 10+ equivalent years' experience in a supervisory role

  • Proven supervisory experience in industrial or manufacturing maintenance environments.
  • Strong mechanical knowledge with hands-on experience in industrial maintenance tasks.
  • Familiarity with programmable logic controllers (PLCs), schematics, and electrical systems including high and low voltage applications.
  • Experience with CMMS software for maintenance planning and record-keeping.
  • Knowledge of HVAC systems, facilities management practices, and safety regulations.
  • Demonstrates project management skills with the ability to lead multiple initiatives simultaneously.
  • Excellent communication skills to effectively coordinate with team members, vendors, and other departments.

Preferred Skills:

  • CNC experience
  • Clean room experience a plus
  • Knowledge of plant systems such as HVAC, compressed air, water treatment



Supervisory Scope:
• Reporting Relationships: Reports to Senior Facilities Manager
• Financial Responsibilities: Participate in cost savings initiatives and budgeting for materials

Compensation and Benefits:
Salary Pay Range: $71,025.00 - $118,375.00 per year. This range is a good faith estimate of the expected salary range for this position, based on a wide range of factors including qualifications, experience and training, operational and business needs and other considerations permitted by law.    At MKS, it is not typical for an individual to be hired at or near the top of the range for the role.

Bonus: This position is eligible for a discretionary annual bonus, in an amount to be determined by MKS [or as applicable].
