The Opportunity

We are currently seeking for a Supervisor, Electrical & Instrumentation to provide leadership to the New Forest maintenance team, ensuring the smooth operation of machinery and equipment by implementing Total Productive Maintenance (TPM) strategies, which includes preventative maintenance, proactive problem-solving, and continuous improvement initiatives, while adhering to safety regulations and optimizing production efficiency.

What You'll Do

Safety and Compliance:

  • Actively encourage the sharing ofSafeStartstories by team members.
  • Activelyparticipateand co-lead the maintenance department safety meetings
  • Ensure adherence to all safety regulations and procedures within the maintenance department.
  • Evolve and mature the safety culture by activelyparticipatingin the safety conversation process
  • Conduct regular safety inspections and address safety concerns promptly.


TPM Leadership:

  • PromoteTPM principles across the maintenance team, driving employee engagement in ownership of equipment upkeep and performance improvement.
  • Activelyparticipatein the Daily& WeeklyOperations Review (DOR& WOR) process
  • Facilitate TPM training for technicians.
  • Lead TPMBreakdown Analysismeetings, working closely with Production Engineers, Operators and Tradespeople toestablishrootcauseof critical breakdowns.


Preventive Maintenance:

  • Implement a robust preventive maintenance schedule based on equipment criticality and manufacturer recommendations.
  • Monitor adherence to scheduled maintenance tasks and ensuretimelycompletion.
  • Analyze maintenance data to identify potential equipment failures and proactively address them.


Corrective Maintenance:

  • Respond to equipment breakdowns promptly, diagnose issues, and assign repairs to technicians.
  • Oversee the quality of repairs and ensure proper documentation of maintenance activities.
  • Collaborate with engineering teams on complex equipment troubleshooting and root cause analysis.


Performance Monitoring and Improvement:

  • Track key performance indicators (KPIs) related to OEEand maintenance costs in support of theNew ForestBusiness Plan.
  • Identifyareas for improvement and implement continuous improvement initiatives tooptimizeequipment performance.
  • Conduct regular equipment audits toidentifypotential issues and address them proactively.


Team Management:

  • Lead and motivate a team of maintenance technicians, assigning tasks based on skills and workload.
  • Providetechnical guidance and support to technicians.
  • Conduct performance reviews andidentifytraining needs for team members.

Hiring Range: $115,000 - $143,700 per year. A candidate's experience and knowledge may be factored into the pay a candidate receives for this position. This posting is for an existing vacancy.
