Titre du poste : Superviseur des opérations

Le poste s’effectue à notre établissement de Longueuil du lundi au vendredi et exclusivement en présentiel.

À quoi ressemblera votre quotidien ?

  • Superviser la production de pièces critiques (disques de turbines, rotors à haubes intégrées) pour moteurs GTF (PW1000/800), dans un environnement de fabrication hautement automatisé.
  • Superviser les opérations quotidiennes en assurant une exécution rapide et fluide des activités dans un environnement en constante évolution dans un milieu syndiqué.
  • Encadrer et coacher une équipe d’opérateurs polyvalents afin d’atteindre des niveaux élevés d’efficacité, de collaboration et de performance pour répondre aux exigences mensuelles de production dans plusieurs quarts de travail.
  • Être responsable de l’atteinte des principaux indicateurs de performance (KPI) tels que la livraison à temps, la productivité, la qualité et l'efficacité globale de l’équipement (OEE).
  • Diriger des investigations en collaboration avec les équipes techniques spécialisées en cas de défaillance d’équipement, de problèmes d’automatisation, de robotique ou de qualité.
  • Participer activement à des projets d'amélioration continue, en partenariat avec les équipes d'ingénierie, pour optimiser la performance de la ligne de production automatisée.
  • Collaborer à l’intégration de nouvelles familles de pièces moteurs avec les équipes de génie manufacturier, en assurant une transition efficace vers la production.
  • Collaborer avec l’équipe de logistique et qualité pour assurer le bon déroulement des services avec les fournisseurs externes.
  • Fournir des mises à jour régulières à la direction concernant l’état des projets, les livraisons et les enjeux opérationnels et être capable de démontrer la proactivité dans la gestions des priorités du départment
  • Assurer une présence active sur le plancher pour supporter les besoins du plancher et avoir une gestion efficace des changements de quart.
  • Contribuer à la planification budgétaire et au processus de implémentation pour soutenir la croissance et la capacité opérationnelle.
  • Être prêt à travailler en dehors des heures régulières si nécessaire, afin de répondre aux exigences d’un milieu de production rapide et exigeant.

Job title : Operations Supervisor

The position is based at our Longueuil facility, from Monday to Friday and exclusively on-site.

What will your day-to-day look like?

  • Supervise the production of critical components (turbine disks, integrated bladed rotors) for GTF (PW1000/800) engines in a highly automated manufacturing environment.
  • Oversee daily operations, ensuring smooth and timely execution of activities in a dynamic, unionized shop.
  • Lead and coach a team of versatile operators across multiple shifts to achieve high levels of efficiency, collaboration, and performance to meet monthly production targets.
  • Be accountable for meeting key performance indicators (KPIs), including on-time delivery, productivity, quality, and Overall Equipment Effectiveness (OEE).
  • Lead investigations in collaboration with technical teams in cases of equipment failures, automation, robotics, or quality issues.
  • Actively participate in continuous improvement projects with supporting engineering teams to optimize the performance of the automated production line.
  • Support New product introduction into production with manufacturing engineering teams, ensuring a smooth transition.
  • Collaborate with logistics and quality teams to ensure proactive coordination with external suppliers.
  • Provide regular updates to management on project status, deliveries, and operational challenges, demonstrating proactive prioritization.
  • Maintain a strong presence on the shop floor to support frontline needs and effectively manage shift transitions.
  • Contribute to budget planning and implementation processes to support growth and operational capacity.
  • Be available to work outside regular hours as needed to meet the demands of a fast-paced production environment.
