Essential Duties & ResponsibilitiesThe Construction Superintendents' role is to lead and manage any on-site construction, overseeing all work activities to ensure projects are completed on time, within budget, according to specifications, while maintaining a safe job site.
- Collaborating with project managers to develop and execute project plans, budgets, and schedules
- Maintain accurate project records and documentation
- Supervise field crews (including subcontractors and onsite personnel)
- Interpret and apply construction documents to include plans, specifications, contracts, shop drawings, submittals, and schedules
- Monitor project progress to ensure compliance with contract requirements, plans, and specifications
- Manage labor, materials, and equipment resources to maintain project schedules and control costs
- Identify and resolve field issues while maintaining project quality and productivity.
- Demonstrate working knowledge of construction means, methods, and related trades.
- Operate basic construction equipment, including skid steers and loaders, as needed.
- Promote and enforce all company safety policies and procedures.
Required (Minimum Necessary) Qualifications - Education Requirements: High School diploma or GED
- Level of Experience Requirements: Must have 5 years+ experience leading and managing onsite construction work
- Ability to pass a pre-employment drug test
- Ability to pass Fit for Duty physical test
- Must have a clean driving record
- Must have reliable transportation
- Perform physical tasks that require a full range of motion
- Must be able to work 8 to 12-hour workdays, Monday through Friday, with occasional weekends
Knowledge, Skills, Abilities, and Other Characteristics - Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate and manage diverse teams effectively.
- Proficiency in actual performance of work and equipment/tools necessary.

Preferred - OSHA 30 certification
- Experience managing commercial construction projects
Supervisory Responsibilities- This position will have supervisory responsibilities.
DOT Covered/Safety-Sensitive Role Requirements - This position does perform DOT "safety-sensitive" functions (as defined under 49 CFR Part 40) and is subject to all federal requirements related to Department of Transportation requirements for those performing, or on-call to perform, "safety-sensitive" functions. Employees must provide a valid Commercial Driver's License (CDL) and Medical Examiner's Certificate (MEC).

Schedule and Flexibility: 40+ hrs. a week, Workdays generally range from 8 to 12 hours, depending on project demands. Occasional evening and weekend work may be required.
