Full Job Description
Job Description:

The Superintendent is responsible for the coordination of the work of all Ryan employees, subcontractors and project management on the jobsite for completion on time and on budget. This position enforces safety programs while managing and training personnel; understands and controlling project budget. Works with trades foremen, superintendent and project management of all scopes of the project; owners and/or tenants.

Some things you can expect to do:
  • Develop a site-specific safety program and administer project safety per Ryan safety policies and procedures and develop a job specific Job Safety/Hazard Analysis.
  • Manage subcontractors in the performance of their work per contract.
  • Develop and understand a CPM computer-generated schedule and be able to track that schedule.
  • Assist in the development and review of the overall construction budget and manage the project within that budget.
  • Assist with material procurement.
  • Establish and monitor the Quality Control program for the project.
  • Daily documentation and file and print management.
  • Hold, prepare, and document required meetings

Candidate Qualifications:

  • Documentation / file management.
  • Must be able to remain calm during stressful situations and work through any challenges or issues which may arise.
  • Must be able to know when to ask for help when a job task exceeds their skills or abilities.
  • Meeting management skills.
  • Team player with team building skills.
  • Require moderate support from Field Coordinator.
  • Ability to read and comprehend blueprints and plans and specifications and give proper direction to project personnel.


Compensation:

The base pay range is $130,000 - $155,000 per year. The base rate may vary within the anticipated range based on factors such as the ultimate location of the position and the selected candidate's knowledge, skills, and abilities. Position may be eligible for additional compensation that may include commission and/or an incentive program.
