Where You Will Work

Our Miami smelter and rod plant is nestled just 90 miles east of Phoenix. The smelter processes copper concentrate primarily from our company's Arizona copper mines and is the most significant source of sulfuric acid for our North American leaching operations. What You Will Do

You plan, organize, manage, and evaluate multiple site International Standards Organization (ISO) and Process Safety Management (PSM) programs through a staff of Analysts and Specialists. You direct staff in daily operations, monitor the quality of work, provide administrative and technical guidance, and interpret ISO, OSHA, and related regulatory policies. You develop and coordinate work plans for assigned projects, including project management, cost estimates, and program development, and you align activities with other units and site departments. You prepare and present reports, trends, and program information to management, supervision, and workforce stakeholders. You establish tactical and strategic goals, oversee budgeting for staffing, materials, training, and supplies, monitor expenditures, and participate in staffing decisions, disciplinary actions, and consultant coordination. You perform other assigned duties as required.

What You Bring To Freeport

  • Bachelor's degree and 7 years related ISO experience, including supervisory or management experience

OR
  • High school diploma or GED and 12 years related ISO experience including supervisory or management experience
  • Additional certifications or licensure appropriate to the job may be required depending on the department or site


Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience with PSM, ISO 55001, ISO 9001, or other similar standards
  • Experience working in an industrial manufacturing environment


What We Offer You

The estimated annual pay range for this role is currently $97,500-$138,000. This range reflects base salary only and does not include bonus payments, benefits or retirement contributions. Actual base pay is determined by experience, qualifications, skills and other job-related factors. This role is eligible for additional discretionary and incentive payment considerations based on company and individual performance. More details will be shared during the hiring process.
