Superintendent providing construction crew supervision for the energy infrastructure services and gathering sites across the Washington, DC metropolitan area.
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
- Responsible for field operations and customer relations. Directs employees engaged in utility construction and related equipment across varied work locations
- Supervises construction activities to ensure Company procedures are followed and compliance is maintained relative to all applicable local, state, and federal regulatory requirements
- Supervises the projects with focus on health and safety and efficiency
- Serves as point of contact with customers, subcontractors, and vendors
- Supervises the centralized dispatch operation for all field employees
QUALIFICATIONS
- 5 to 10 years' experience
- Prior supervisory experience in utility Infrastructure including by not limited to: electrical, communication and water construction
- Bachelor's degree in applicable field or equivalent combination of education and experience
- Experience supervising and/or managing multi-site operational diverse groups
- Willing and able to travel regularly among multiple project sites
- Strong management, planning, organizational and leadership skills
- Strong verbal and written communications and interpersonal skills
- Ability to interface effectively with company contacts, customers and employees and resolve operational problems
- Knowledge of various laws governing energy and processing facilities including but not limited to OSHA, DOT, EPA, etc.
- Project Management experience with budgeting, project cost estimating, scheduling, and planning
