This role entails scheduling, subcontractor management, communication with the client and building occupants, safety and occupational health management, monitoring, assessments, safety site orientation, activity-specific education, and assurance of compliance.

This position will report to our office location in Huntsville, AL at Redstone Arsenal.Essential Duties & ResponsibilitiesThe Essential Duties and Responsibilities are intended to present a descriptive list of the range of duties, but not all duties performed for this position. - Manage overall quality and production of work and conformance to Contract Documents.
- Manage/maintain all necessary planning, direction, coordination, and budgeting for project activities.
- Coordinate/communicate with the Project Manager daily.
- Coordinate/communicate with Owner as necessary.
- Manage subcontractor, contractor, owner, inspector, AHJ field coordination, daily.
- Manage field staff coordination with Quality Control Manager and Site Safety and Health Officer
- Attend the pre-construction conference, pre-work meetings including three phase inspection meetings.
- Manage/maintain weekly subcontractor coordination meetings.
- Attend/participate in weekly Owner's meetings.
- Review and be knowledgeable of subcontractor's subcontracted scope of work.
- Manage all coordination necessary to complete the scopes of work and prevent extra work or lost time to the greatest extent possible.
- Be familiar with the subcontractor's budget and cost structure.
- Review and be knowledgeable of the Baseline Project Schedule.
- Provide input on dates, durations, and coordination, monthly.
- Prepare short-term detailed look ahead schedules, weekly.
- Request, prepare, and hold coordination meetings as necessary to support the Project Schedule.
- Coordinate with the Subcontractors and Owner for progress billing, monthly.
- Oversee quality control and safety programs.
- Manage deliveries, staging, loading, and unloading.
- Supervise equipment usage on site such as cranes or earth moving equipment.
- Ensure project conformance to national and/or local building codes.
- Maintain accurate daily records.
Minimum Qualifications:To perform this position successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. The qualifications listed are representative of the knowledge, skill, and/or ability required.
- Minimum of 10 years of general construction experience and a minimum of 5 years of experience in a construction field/site supervisory role.
- Experience with heavy civil work, developing multiple buildings across a site
- Experience managing USACE and/or NAVFAC government construction projects
- OSHA 30hr
- Experience with Procore
- Experience with RMS
- Proficient with Word, Excel, and PDF
Preferred Qualifications:- Experience with construction projects involving classified space (SECRET or above) is highly desired.
- Experience as a superintendent for an FBI construction or project experience on Redstone Arsenal is preferred.
Additional Qualifying Factors:As a condition of employment, you will be required to pass a pre-employment drug screening (post accepted offer) and have acceptable background check results. If applicable to the contract, you must also obtain the appropriate clearance levels required and be able to obtain access to military installations.

Working ConditionsJob is performed in a combination of office and outdoor site locations. The office setting includes exposure to computer screens and requires extensive use of a computer, keyboard, and mouse. Outdoor settings include walking, driving, and carrying supplies throughout all seasons with exposure to heat and cold conditions, and potentially wildlife. Is occasionally exposed to fumes or airborne particles, toxic or caustic chemicals and loud noise.
