Position Title: Superintendent
Salary Range: $125,000-$155,000 / Year, DOE
We are seeking an experienced Superintendent to lead field operations for large-scale institutional and educational construction projects, including oversight of subcontractors, schedules, safety, quality, inspections and project execution. This role will play a critical part in coordinating major project scopes, with an immediate emphasis on MEPF coordination for a $160M+ ground-up high school project.
The ideal candidate is a seasoned construction professional with a strong General Contractor background, experience leading projects valued at $30M+ and the leadership skills to coordinate complex field operations while building strong relationships with owners, architects, project teams and trade partners.
Responsibilities - Lead day-to-day field operations for large-scale institutional and commercial construction projects
- Manage subcontractors and coordinate construction schedules to keep projects progressing safely, efficiently and on schedule
- Oversee safety, quality control, inspections, documentation and overall field execution
- Lead major project scopes, including mechanical, electrical, plumbing and fire protection systems
- Coordinate closely with project managers, owners, architects, engineers and trade contractors throughout construction
- Manage complex MEPF coordination across multiple subcontractors and project stakeholders
- Maintain accurate project documentation, reporting, and communication across the field and project leadership teams
Requirements - 7+ years of construction experience with a current or recent General Contractor background
- Proven experience leading construction projects valued at $30M or more
- Strong background in institutional, educational, municipal, or commercial construction
- Demonstrated ability to lead large subcontractor teams and coordinate complex project scopes
- Strong leadership, communication, organization and problem-solving skills
- Stable career history with experience taking ownership of demanding field operations
- Ability to successfully complete required background, drug and driving record screenings
