Key Responsibilities
- Lead field operations for large-scale commercial retail, tenant improvement, and ground-up construction projects.
- Oversee daily jobsite activities, ensuring work is completed safely, efficiently, and according to project plans and specifications.
- Coordinate and manage subcontractors, vendors, equipment, and material deliveries to maintain project progress.
- Maintain and drive project schedules, proactively addressing issues that may impact timelines or productivity.
- Ensure quality control by inspecting work and verifying compliance with project requirements and company standards.
- Lead jobsite safety efforts, conduct regular safety meetings, and enforce safety policies and procedures.
- Coordinate inspections, owner walkthroughs, punch lists, and project closeout activities to achieve successful project completion.
- Collaborate with Project Managers on project execution, change requests, cost impacts, and project documentation.
- Maintain accurate daily reports, project records, and field documentation.
- Mentor and support field personnel while promoting best practices in safety, quality, and project execution.
Required Qualifications
- 10+ years of commercial construction supervision experience.
- Proven experience managing field operations, subcontractors, project schedules, safety, and inspections.
- Ability to read and interpret construction drawings, specifications, and submittals.
- Working knowledge of commercial construction practices, including architectural, structural, and MEP systems.
- Strong leadership, communication, problem-solving, and organizational skills.
- Proficiency with construction management software and project documentation tools.
- Ability to work evenings, overnight shifts, and extended hours as project needs require.
Travel Requirement: This position requires extensive travel and an on-site presence throughout the duration of assigned projects.
