Full Job Description
About the team

The Subscriptions & SSP Insights team is at the forefront of driving data-driven decision-making for Roku's Subscriptions business. This team is responsible for building out the data and information suite that the Subscriptions business runs on: the metrics, KPIs, reports, dashboards, deep-dive analyses, and more. By working closely with cross-functional teams, including Core Analytics/Data Science and Engineering, the Subscriptions Business Insights team will be a key enabler of growth and contribute to Roku's success.
About the role

Roku is seeking a Subscriptions & SSP Insights Manager, Premium Subscriptions to lead insights for our Premium Subscriptions business as it scales globally. This role owns the analytics that power high-value subscription offerings - spanning international expansion, bundling, partner performance in PS, and the tools our partners rely on to grow with us.

You'll build out international analytics - bringing rigor and consistency to how we measure PS performance across regions, accounting for market dynamics. You'll also be an analytical voice as we re-envision the Partner Portal: helping solidify the metrics that drive partners' decisions and guiding how self-serve reporting can deepen partner relationships and accelerate growth. Your insights will directly inform high-stakes decisions at the intersection of Product, Partnerships, Marketing, Finance, and Strategy, ensuring Roku builds a durable, global Premium Subscriptions business.

This role is for someone with strong business acumen and genuine curiosity - someone who doesn't just report the numbers, but asks why they're moving, what they mean for the business, and what we should do next.

For New York Only - The estimated annual salary for this position is between $145,000 -$157,500. Compensation packages are based on factors unique to each candidate, including but not limited to skill set, certifications, and specific geographical location.

This role is eligible for health insurance, equity awards, life insurance, disability benefits, parental leave, wellness benefits, and paid time off.

What you'll be doing
  • Own Premium Subscriptions insights: Define, track, and tell the story behind the metrics and KPIs that matter most to Roku's Premium Subscriptions business, across partners and markets.
  • Drive international analytics: Build a consistent framework to measure Premium Subscriptions performance across regions - accounting for market maturity, partner mix, and local dynamics - and surface where the biggest global opportunities lie.
  • Re-envision the Partner Portal: Partner with Product and Engineering to reimagine the data and reporting partners see - defining the metrics, views, and self-serve capabilities that help partners make better decisions and grow with Roku.
  • Build and own reporting: Develop scalable dashboards and reporting that give stakeholders a trusted, real-time view of Premium Subscriptions health across products, geographies, and partners.
  • Diagnose the drivers: Go beyond the 'what' to the 'why' - connecting subscriber behavior and market factors to performance and translating findings into clear business actions.
  • Influence through storytelling: Deliver compelling dashboards, presentations, and narratives around Premium Subscriptions performance, tailored for executive and partner audiences.
  • Cross-functional leadership: Collaborate with Subscription Growth, Partner Growth, Product, Marketing, and Finance to align Premium Subscriptions insights strategy with Roku's strategic goals.
  • Operational excellence: Bridge technical expertise (Core Analytics, Data Engineering) with business stakeholders to ensure Premium Subscriptions and partner data is actionable and trusted.
  • Champion a data-driven culture: Promote curiosity and insight as a foundation for Premium Subscriptions success across Roku and its partners.

We're excited if you have
  • 5+ years of professional experience in the Analytics & Insights space.
  • Strong business acumen - you understand what drives a subscription business and can connect analysis to commercial outcomes and strategy.
  • Genuine curiosity - you instinctively dig into the 'why' behind the numbers and aren't satisfied with surface-level answers.
  • Exceptional storytelling and communication skills - able to translate complex analyses into executive-ready and partner-ready narratives and presentations.
  • Strong Tableau skills, with the ability to build interactive dashboards that stakeholders and partners rely on.
  • Advanced analytical skills, including SQL expertise and comfort working with large, complex datasets.
  • Strong modeling ability in Excel.
  • Experience working with international/multi-market data is a strong plus (regional nuance, cross-market comparability).
  • Experience defining requirements for data products, portals, or self-serve reporting tools is a plus.
  • Highly collaborative, with the ability to influence and align diverse teams - including external partners - around shared goals.
  • Comfortable navigating ambiguity and prioritizing the highest-impact work in a fast-paced environment.
  • Passionate about building lasting value for subscribers, partners, and the business.
  • Bachelor's degree in a quantitative or business-related field (Economics, Business, Marketing, Analytics). MBA or advanced degree is a plus.
