Essential Functions of the Role- Formulate and convey a clear plan for nursing procedures within your assigned area.
- Involve supervisors and team members in establishing and achieving departmental priorities.
- Establish a positive work atmosphere through shared management structures and processes that help research-based nursing protocol.
- Encourage team members' professional growth in areas of clinical and leadership skill.
- Stay updated on research-based practices and leverage this knowledge in improving care standards.
- Promote a therapeutic surrounding for patients, their families, and the nursing staff.
- Represent nursing staff in addressing the concerns of patients, families, and team members.
- Facilitate educational opportunities for patients and their families, nursing staff, and the community.
- Incorporate the organization's mission and goals into strategies for staff and patients.
- Passionately participate in governance and decision-making processes to enhance nursing procedures and workplace conditions.
Key Success Factors- Have a broad knowledge of the standards and procedures for nursing and patient care.
- Be aware of healthcare laws, regulations, accreditation standards, and hospital policies.

- Have prior experience in handling operational management and guiding a team.

- Be comfortable using general computer software, systems for healthcare management, and electronic documentation.
Qualifications- Applicants should hold a Bachelor's degree.
- A minimum of (3) three years of experience in a similar nursing role is required for consideration.
- Required certifications: (ACLS) Advanced Cardiac Life Support, (RN) Registered Nurse license, (BLS) Basic Life Support. If not BLS certified, it must be completed within (30) thirty days of hire or transfer.
