Manager, Electrophysiology Lab - Baylor Scott & White The Heart HospitalPosition SummaryProvides day-to-day operational and personnel leadership for the EP Lab, including staffing, scheduling, throughput, supply and inventory management, quality and regulatory compliance, physician relations, and budget accountability. Partners with the Director of Cardiovascular Services and CV leadership to advance departmental and system goals.
ScheduleMonday-Friday, days. Exempt. Availability required for call escalation, off-hours issues, and occasional weekend/holiday coverage needs.
Minimum Requirements- Bachelor's degree required (healthcare, nursing, allied health, or business-related field)
- Minimum 3 years of clinical experience in an invasive cardiovascular or EP environment
- Current licensure or certification appropriate to discipline - RN
- BLS and ACLS certification required
- Demonstrated experience with regulatory and accreditation standards (Joint Commission, ACC, radiation safety)
Preferred Qualifications- Master's degree in Nursing, Healthcare Administration, or Business
- 2+ years of formal leadership experience (manager, supervisor, charge, or lead) in a cardiovascular service line
- Direct electrophysiology experience - ablation, device implant, mapping systems, and lab workflow
- Experience with Epic, cath/EP lab reporting systems, and productivity/labor management tools
- Experience supporting a new lab opening or service line expansion
