Responsibilities

Peraton is seeking a Subcontracts Administrator, Senior Advisor for the following: 

  • Ensure complete compliance with CPSR requirements.
  • Provide full life-cycle subcontract management of various contract types, complexities, and sizes that will consist of monitoring subcontract and vendor performance, funding, and invoices/budgets to mitigate cost overruns.
  • Ensure compliance with subcontract and procurement policies, procedures, and standard operating practices.
  • Identify and work with business unit and contract leadership to advise and resolve complex contractual challenges with subcontractors and vendors, including ability to meet schedules, cost and technical requirement concerns, and requirement changes.
  • Analyze, prepare, and submit request for proposals/quotes for various business opportunities
  • Support Program Managers by providing guidance on contractual requirements and mitigating the company’s risk.
  • Manage the fully life cycle of a Subcontract Agreement to include pre-award actions, start-up and close-out process for all assigned projects.
  • Negotiate and coordinate additions, deletions or modifications to subcontracts.
Qualifications

  • US citizenship required.
  • Can be remote but must be willing to travel to Reston, Virginia when needed.
  • Experience with the following subcontract types: FFP, T&M, Labor Hour, Cost Reimbursement (w/fixed-fee).
  • Familiar with Fair and Reasonable determinations as well as Subcontractor price analysis.
  • High-level of accountability and responsibility with in-depth knowledge and a strong understanding of:
    • Federal Acquisition Regulations, Defense Federal Acquisition Regulations Supplements, as well as other Agency Supplements;
    • Is well versed in being able to read, understand, and decipher required flow-down terms from the Prime Contract;
    • Negotiating Subcontract with other Government Contractors.
    • Great business sense with a laser focus on growing business through relationships.
    • Understanding of financial systems and purchase requisition process.
    • Firm understanding of managing subcontracts with multiple contract types.
Target Salary Range$104,000 - $166,000. This represents the typical salary range for this position. Salary is determined by various factors, including but not limited to, the scope and responsibilities of the position, the individual’s experience, education, knowledge, skills, and competencies, as well as geographic location and business and contract considerations. Depending on the position, employees may be eligible for overtime, shift differential, and a discretionary bonus in addition to base pay.
