Full Job Description
Responsibilities

  • Develop and oversee the implementation of detailed project plans, including timelines, and resource requirements, for large-scale datacenter construction projects.


  • Manage cross-functional teams, including engineers, procurement, and construction to ensure project milestones are met and deliverables are completed on time.


  • Lead end-to-end schedule coordination for the assigned portfolio, including IMS governance, schedule updates, forecast reviews, variance commentary, and cross-functional alignment.


  • Own schedule governance across projects by ensuring baseline schedules, GC schedules, resource loading, and schedule logic comply with program guidance, requirements, and planning standards.


  • Review, challenge, and approve GC baseline schedule evaluations and key schedule revisions on behalf of Planning, including baseline quality, sequencing, logic, float consumption, and milestone alignment.


  • Lead delay impact analysis governance by ensuring TIAs are reviewed with planners prior to external stakeholder feedback; comments are aligned within internal team and mitigation recommendations are clear and defensible.


  • Identify, document, and communicate schedule risks and develop contingency plans to mitigate potential issues.


  • Lead ad-hoc schedule analysis, what-if scenarios, recovery planning, and schedule optimization efforts to support speed-to-market and on-time delivery.


  • Coach, mentor, and guide Project Site Planning Leads and planners by clarifying role boundaries, reviewing TIA baseline outputs, improving schedule quality, and building confidence across the planning team.


  • Lead a small team of consultants or contingent schedulers where required to support effective schedule management across the assigned sub-region projects.


  • Provide regular project updates to senior management and other stakeholders.


  • Partner with cross-functional teams to influence strategic direction, resolve schedule conflicts, and align execution priorities with project delivery commitments.


  • Drive continuous improvement, automation, responsible AI adoption, and repeatable planning templates / tools to reduce manual effort and improve schedule quality.


  • Comply with relevant Owner policies and procedures and work within legal and regulatory frameworks.


Qualifications

Required/Minimum Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's Degree in Construction Project Management, Architecture, Engineering, or related field AND 10+ years related experience OR equivalent experience.

Other Requirements:
  • Ability to meet Microsoft, customer and/or government security screening requirements are required for this role. These requirements include, but are not limited to the following specialized security screenings: Microsoft Cloud Background Check: This position will be required to pass the Microsoft Cloud background check upon hire/transfer and every two years thereafter.

Additional/Preferred Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's Degree in Construction Project Management, Architecture, Engineering, or related field AND 12+ years related experience OR equivalent experience.
  • 12+ years' experience working on data center projects.
  • 10+ years of planning, scheduling, construction management, project controls, or related field experience.
  • Subject matter expertise in Primavera P6, CPM scheduling, schedule health checks, baseline management, delay analysis, and schedule reporting.
  • Experience developing or managing an owner's planning / scheduling program for large capital construction programs.
  • Experience leading complex project or program planning across a large group of internal and external stakeholders.
  • Demonstrated experience using schedule and project controls performance metrics to drive actions, operational adjustments, and mitigation plans.

Construction Project Management M5 - The typical base pay range for this role across the U.S. is USD $116,900 - $203,600 per year. There is a different range applicable to specific work locations, within the San Francisco Bay area and New York City metropolitan area, and the base pay range for this role in those locations is USD $148,400 - $222,600 per year.
