Reformation is looking for a full time
Style Director to lead the styling identity of the brand. The Style Director will be a key contributor to our Creative team and will report into the Creative Director. You will lead and evolve the styling strategy to keep the brand fresh, relevant, and true to its aesthetic. This person will be responsible to oversee and guide styling direction for marketing photography across e-commerce, social, and advertising.
What You'll Do: - You'll work directly with the Creative Director, Creative Merchandising, Brand Marketing and Merchandising teams to develop a brand right styling direction that will influence brand campaigns, commercial channels, and the development of future product collections to ensure consistent and cohesive styling across all touchpoints.
- Translate the seasonal inspiration to an ownable & relevant seasonal point of view that can be executed across all seasonal storytelling and product launches.
- Work closely with the product operations team to drive visual direction that supports broader marketing objectives, including brand consistency, market testing and customer engagement.
- Establish clear visual guidelines and standards to ensure consistent point of view around the globe, ensuring alignment across the creative and design teams.
- Analyze market trends, research competitors/ inspiration, and identify customer preferences to ensure the company's creative direction remains relevant and impactful.
- Redefine styling across key categories and elevate core products.
- Oversee styling needs from concept to final execution ensuring all styling elements bring the visual direction to life while driving styling tactics to complete the look. Direct and give styling feedback on set to make sure the looks are executed as intended.
- This is an on-set, hands-on role. Throughout the shoot week, you'll be expected to be physically present on set - actively styling, adjusting looks in real time, and problem-solving alongside the photo and production teams.
What You'll Need: - Be an expert in industry trends and fashion movements to ensure that the styling and photography align with current market aesthetics while maintaining brand integrity.
- Minimum 6-8 years of styling experience
- Experience managing a team. You will manage internal team members as well as external freelancers for photoshoot styling needs.
- Amazing style and keen eye for design
- Understanding of garment fit and design intent
- Ability to maintain and grow the evolution of the Reformation brand and look
- Organized and ability to work at a high-volume capacity
- Team player
- Los Angeles-based or willing to relocate
Compensation:At Reformation, we believe in transparency and equity when it comes to compensation. For this role, the anticipated base salary range is $100,000 - $144,000 + 10% bonus eligibility, depending on a variety of factors, including but not limited to relevant experience, skills, qualifications, and internal compensation equity.
This role may also be eligible for an annual discretionary bonus based on a range of factors, including company performance, department goals, and individual contributions. Bonus amounts and eligibility are not guaranteed and are determined at the company's discretion.
