BS in Civil Engineering (Structural Emphasis) or related degree from an ABET accredited program; master's preferred
4-7 years of structural design experience
REVIT experience required
PE license required
Knowledge of building codes and standards (International Building Code, AISC Steel Code, ACI Code, ASCE 7) necessary
Familiarity with structural analysis software (RAM, RISA, ENERCALC) is a plus
Strong verbal and written communication skills
Personal vehicle and valid driver's license are required.

Full Job Description
Responsibilities:
Develops solutions for small to mid-scale engineering projects of low to high complexity, from existing building retrofit to new construction.
Develops innovative design solutions and engineering production methods to enhance efficiency, quality, and production of work product.
Analyzes and designs structures and structural components using structural software, although conceptualizing design by hand prior to input in software is encouraged.
Responsible for the timely and accurate completion of assigned projects.
Maintains high standards of professional and ethical conduct.
Develops professional skills through professional organization involvement, project assignments, reading, formal education and seminars.
Production of structural construction drawings, specifications and reports using CAD/BIM technology.
Construction administration support including project site visits and shop drawings reviews.
Qualifications/Experience:
BS in Civil Engineering (with a Structural Emphasis), or related degree, from an ABET accredited program (master's degree preferred)
4-7 years of experience in structural design
