Chipton-Ross is seeking 5 Structural & Payload Design Engineers (Level 5) for a contract opportunity in Everett or Renton, WA.

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS (REQUIRED SKILLS/EXPERIENCE)

  • Bachelor of Science degree in Engineering (with a focus on Mechanical, Civil (including approved Structural), Aerospace Aeronautical or Material Sciences), ABET Accredited University required.
  • 16+ years related work experience in Structures design
  • Regular and predictable attendance is required


POSITION RESPONSIBILITIES

Looking for structures analysis engineers with experience in aircraft structure design specializing in Landing Gear, Doors, or Windows (Flight Deck and/or Passenger). Work statement is a non-managerial role, non-leadership role.

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS (DESIRED SKILLS/EXPERIENCE)

  • Has previous work experience working on client Structures commodities
  • Experience with 3D modeling such as CATIA/ENOVIA
  • Ability to excel in a highly dynamic environment, team-oriented atmosphere
  • Excellent communication skills with the ability to convey complex, nuanced results in a clear, concise manner that is easily understood by a wide audience
  • Have initiative and ability to recognize needs/SOW without explicit guidance
  • Be able to provide technical solutions to a wide range of problems
  • Familiarity with Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing (GD&T)
  • Familiar with DCCS, ETAC, PDM


REQUIRED EDUCATION

Minimum of a Bachelor of Science degree from an accredited course of study in engineering, computer science, mathematics, physics or chemistry (e.g. Bachelor's degree with 14 or more years' experience, Master's degree with 12 or more years' experience or PhD with 9 or more years' experience). In the USA, ABET accreditation is the preferred, although not required, accreditation standard.

WORK HOURS

FULL TIME/FIRST SHIFT; 7:30 AM - 4:00 PM
