Lanteris Space is seeking a motivated and skilled Manufacturing Engineer to join our team in Mountain View, CA. In this role, you will be responsible for the engineering functions related to the fabrication, assembly, and testing of spacecraft structures, panels and central cylinders.

Responsibilities:

• Create and release necessary documentation to fabricate, assemble, and test spacecraft structures, panels, and cylinders. Work with assembly technicians and other engineering personnel to ensure the highest quality product is produced in the most efficient manner possible.
• Work with Tooling Engineers to determine tooling required to fabricate quality structures
• Work with assembly technicians and engineering personnel to resolve issues that arise in production.

Minimum Requirements

• Must be a U.S. citizen or permanent resident
• Bachelor's degree in an engineering or related field. Four years of additional experience may be substituted in lieu of a degree
• 2 years of relevant work experience
• General Dimensioning and Tolerancing
• Ability to use general measurement tooling (calipers, micrometers)
• Microsoft Office Suite

Preferred Qualifications

• Extensive knowledge of the manufacturing techniques of aerospace structures
• Experience working with composite cylinders and panels as well as strut assemblies
