Job PurposeAs a Structural Design Analyst, you will support design developmant starting from concept phase until design release, through FEA Simulations, ensuring durability adn structural functionality of componenets and / or systems and providing technical solution based on analysis results for developing an optimal design. The main products working with will include, Skid Steer, Compact Track Loader Tractor Loader Backhoes, Wheel Loaders, Compact Loaders, Motor Graders, Crawlers and Mini Excavators.
Key Responsibilities- Support during concept phase and final virtual validations of mechanical components and/or assemblies for construction machinery vehicles (all SSL, CTL, WL,TLB...)
- Perform structural (linear, non-linear, dynamic) simulations using FEA tools or calculation spreadsheet
- Prepare the FE models according to DA&S simulation procedures
- Determine structural loads to be used for the FEA validation, by specific analysis tools or by hand calculation
- Provide design proposals to Engineering team to improve or optimize the structural behavior of components/assemblies
- Simulation tasks management through Integrated Validation Plan and CTS system
You will execute simulations to validate components and / or systems using FEA tools and perform the following types of analysis:
- Static FE analysis, linear and non- linear (mainly isotropic materials)
- Modal, Sinusoidal & Random vibration analysis
- Weld fatigue analysis (spot weld, seam weld)
- Parent material strength and durability analysis
- Durability analysis, using specific fatigue codes (NCode)
- Structural optimization
- Strain gauging and accelerometer test data processing

Experience Required- Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or similiar
- Three plus years of prior work experience in nonlinear FEA and fatigue analysis of on-road or off-road vehicle components
- Three plus years of prior work experience with the following: Abaqus and Abaqus Explicit FEA software, Hypermesh, and Optistruct software, Fatigue Software such as Ncode, Mechanical principles, kinematics, structural materials, and standard vehicle components.
- Three plus years of industrial experience in construction, agricultural, automotive or aerospace business
Preferred Qualifications- The ideal Candidate will have:
- A positive attitude, strong drive to achieve goals and succeed,
- Ability to learn and demonstrate proficiency in new global processes and systems.
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to details
- A working knowledge of general computer applications (Excel, Word, etc.)
- Experience in structural design, rubber component design, ride quality & NVH a plus.
- Master's degree in Mechanical Engineering
- Ability to effectively communicate (verbal and written) issues, problems, and observations of work being performed.
- Demonstrated ability to work with cross discipline teams as well as being a strong individual contributor.
- Ability to work with minimal supervision managing multiple projects and tasks.
Pay TransparencyThe annual salary for this role is USD $74,625.00 - $114,425.00 plus any applicable bonus (Actual salaries will vary and will be based on various factors, such as skill, experience and qualification for the role.)
For roles open across multiple locations, the salary range indicated refers to the primary location. If a different location is considered, the applicable salary range will be communicated to candidates prior to the first interview.
